Conducting

Dr. Jones has conducted ensembles nationally and internationally, including Carnegie Hall in New York City and the Cannon Center for Performing Arts in Memphis, TN. He is a passionate advocate for public school music education and frequently conducts honor bands in all levels as well as serving as a consultant for school districts and programs throughout the United States. His new music commissioning projects have received praise from composers Julie Giroux, Steven Bryant, Alex Shapiro, Omar Thomas, John Mackey, Anthony Barfield, Ayatey Shabazz, Joshua Hobbs, among others.
